About Us
It is my distinct honor and privilege to serve as the Superintendent of North Providence Public Schools. We are very fortunate to have a community that is extremely supportive of public education. In addition, we are quite proud of the numerous academic, co-curricular and athletic programs that our school system provides to all of our students. These programs are supported by talented teachers, administrators, and support staff members across the district. Our focus every day is to work together as a cohesive team to provide excellence in education, including high quality instruction in every classroom that is rigorous, engaging, and personalized for each student. Our goal as a school system is to prepare our students for career and college success so that all students can thrive as productive members of the 21st century global marketplace. Maintains Excellent Attendance as an Educator in our school district.
Holds High Expectations for all of her students
Embraces all of her students ,including their backgrounds and culture, highlighting how unique and special their cultures are and actively encourages students to bring in and share parts of their culture to provide awareness.
Supports Teachers and staff to ensure that there is ongoing communication with parents and families around student progress, to ensure that all families of her students feel welcome coming to the school for parent nights, meetings and extracurricular activities.
Collaborates frequently with other educators at McGuire and in our school district to best meet the needs of the MLL students.
Collaborates with groups such as, Moms of Marieville, North Providence Library and Chartwells to aid in supporting the community and students of Mcguire Elementary school.
Engages and pursues continued professional learning such as Ellevations Modules as well as participating in other professional learning activities both in person and online as a way to enhance her professional growth.
